Imperial War Museum North is encouraging families to go undercover this October half term with a programme of spy themed free family events and activities.

Fido’s secret mission is to promote the events to families and the first port of call was a trip to the museum to photograph some local school children decked out in wartime spy gear.

Some of the free activities taking place over half term include:

In the Spotlight - A Secret Life: Odette Hallowes
In the Spotlight will reveal the story of special operations executive agent Odette Hallowes, a female spy whose incredible experiences are brought to life for the very first time in a special display.
From Saturday 24 October in the main exhibition space.
