Fido Goes Green

Big Book of Green Design

Two of Fido’s green projects have been selected to feature in the Big Book of Green Design, on bookshelves from 17 November.

Blackwell Goes Green was Fido’s response to a brief celebrating the fact that in 2005 Blackwells was the first publisher to become CarbonNeutral. The creative that led the global stakeholder launch has been chosen by author Suzanna MW Stephens as being an inspiring solution for designers looking for ‘green design’. This will sit alongside Fido’s work for SmartCat, which through a package re-design was able to successfully communicate the environmental attributes of this wood-based cat litter.

“The marketplace of green design is reaching saturation point, so it’s great to see a resource that will set the standard to demonstrate how sustainable key messages can be delivered through award-winning design. The fact that two of Fido’s projects have been selected to appear in this bible of great design is a testament to the outstanding work that we’re producing as an agency” comments Laura Sullivan, Fido’s joint managing director.
