Fido to uncover the real Joe Bloggs

T6d sponsored by Joe Bloggs Clothing
Iconic Manchester fashion clothing company Joe Bloggs, has retained Fido PR to handle its consumer and digital PR in a bid to create a younger fan-base for the brand.

Joe Bloggs was established 20 years ago and became a legendary brand in the 1990s, thanks to its baggy jeans and slogans such as ‘Everyone Snogs In Joe Bloggs’.

The online retailer now specialises in fashion clothing for boys aged 7-16 years old.  Fido’s task over the next 12 months will be to increase awareness of the brand among young boys, driving sales and increasing traffic to the website.

As part of the campaign Fido will be asking the question; who is Joe Bloggs? In order to tackle the big issue of sizing in boys fashion.

Bushra Ahmed PR and Marketing Director at Joe Bloggs comments “Joe Bloggs is an exciting brand, offering quality, fashionable clothes at value for money prices.  We are confident about the product, the challenge is to reach young people and tell them about it. Fido captured our imagination with an innovative approach to online PR and a genuine enthusiasm for our brand.”

Kate Pearson, account director at Fido says: “Who is Joe Bloggs? Is a social experiment that will reveal the truth about this hard to reach market in a fun and engaging way. But, it will also allow Joe Bloggs Clothing to address issues such as sizing, which no other retailer has done before for this age group.
